A friend gave us their aviary. We spent one day digging it up, the next day we took the pins out and cut it down the middle, on day 3 we were able to move it with the help of some good friends =) We can't wait to clip it back together and get it all set up for the fids. Below are some pics of the big move. Need to go to my Facebook though....not enough space for photos on here copy paste link, i fixed the photos so everyone should be able to view them. =) If you are not a facebook user be sure to click the arrow at the top right of screen to view all photos.

WOW! If the birds don't like it, you could rent it out as a wedding tent!

Thank you lol! My mom was joking with me that i could go sit in it but actually i think i will lol, if my non-bird people neighbors spot me they are gonna think I'm nuts! It also needs partial covering to protect the birdies from over heating and my mom was like well you could cover it and then host parties inside ;)

It was Jade's aviary she came from a flock of 7 other birds...she was a Momma's girl, but her Dad was the one with a lot of bird knowledge, they are both wonderful people though! My mother has birds at her house too so we have 10 birds that can use the aviary at different times, it's going to be great for them =)

Doesn't seem to work for non-members and I don't join clubs that earn money from data mining and selling personal info. I'm sure that your pictures are nice.

Shoot, i guess i need a blogspot or something. I am really not sure how to get them to post on here so that they are not to large to load??? Facebook sometimes is more trouble than it's worth, i have considered deleting it many times but if i do that i will lose contact with so many people i go back and forth....

since people and birds will be going in and out of it, I would SERIOUSLY work on making a vestibule for it. That way there is always a closed door so the birds can't slip out.

Good idea, icky! I thought of that also. But, it's already so big. Bigger than my mobile home! LOL! My fids would love that!

Bill...It is no coincidence that birds and angels both have wings.

I know that concerned me too, I know Sam and Sierra would most likely follow me right on out. The door only swings out which helps, but you are so right it's not worth the risk.
