Hello to all!

I have an Amazon, but I am not sure what kind exactly. I have researched, and to me Mattie looks more like a Red Lored. But, the thing is, she does not have a lot of red on her forehead. She does have a little by her nose (it is more orange than red, though), and a tiny bit on the sides of her face,  but nothing like I saw in the pics. I don't know if her red/orange is visible in these pictures. Is she just a different "version" of a Red Lored, or what? Thanks!

I have never seen a Red Lored without some type of red. I have seen them with limited yellow, yes, but not limited or no red. I did some searching and I was thinking maybe an Orange Wing amazon? This is why: http://www.tntie.com/royalbirdcompany/orange%20wing%20amazon.htm

It looks almost exactly like your bird colorwise, the yellow just extends down its cheeks further. Maybe some one else can give a better guess, but that's what I thought when comparing the two pictures. Mattie could also be a hybrid, or cross between two species.

Do you have any other pictures one that looks face on and shows rest of body?

She looks like she has soem Panama or yellow shouldered in her

To me she has too much yellow on her face and head to be a red lored.

As said she may be a mix Possibly a blue front and a yellow shouldered mix. or a blue front and Panama mix.

Is the coloring on top blue or lilac?

She really seems to be a mix to me anyway

Sadly some people get two birds male and female and think hmm lets have babies and never take the time to learn the ins and outs Which muddies the bloodlines and genes and well we end up with many mixed species.

If you do a google for different species and look at Images that may help.

Actually she reminds me a lot of my Iggy if she had a bit of blue down by her nostrils she would be a splitting image

i'm guessing orange wing. There does not appear to be any red in the tail and Blue Fronts have red "bulls eyes" in the tail feathers. But they could be hiding??? I'm still thinking orange wing.

my first guess would be orange wing, but need a full body photo to be sure (is there any orange in the wing)?  Here's a pic of my OWA:

Hmm...Here is my red lored, To me yours looks like it could be a hybrid or maybe an orange wing. However the beak on your looks similiar to a red-loreds beak. If you could post another pic it would be really helpful.

**EDIT** Ok I just zoomed in on your pic, and it DOES have some red..I think..so red lored is very possible actually.

Better image would help along with front, back, tail, and wing shots.

Can't be a pure blue front because the beak is not all black. Definitely some orange wing in there somewhere.
