I think I meant lilac-crowned... or did I? I always get amazons confused... I love both, but lilac-crowned was the one I was thinking of.

I have two amazons, a Mealy and a Mexican Red Headed. I love both of my babies, and I love amazons in general but I seriously don't think I could handle another in my house. They are my two rowdy kids and I could not imagine adding a third to the bunch! My two jibber jabber back and forth and sometimes (when they think no one is listening) have screaming contests lol. I read somewhere that the ideal amazon owner would be part deaf. That is so true!

I've never met an amazon...I guess that goes with living in the boonies, eh? (< a little canada there for ya ) Mostly people around here have smaller birds like lovies, budies and tiels.
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.

| ANY amazon? My dream amazon would be a St. Lucia Amazon. They kind of look like little eagles. That however, would never be possible. They are almost extinct. -Anna

| Well, Willow is a BFA and I picked her after a lot of reading and getting to know other zons. But if I could not have her or any BFA it would be a DYH. I like the hot three.
